We are both over 65 and have SGK membership. We are going to renew the yearly residency this week.
How many photos do we need, and do we need to go to the Muhtar again for form to be signed if we haven't changed address since last year ? Any other current information is welcome. Thank you.

Anyone able to help?

asked this question in a previous post. still waiting for an answer. there must be somebody who has done this.

Try Doc Martin Redman's page on Facebook - lots of info on there!

Friends got their residency last week and they had to get six pictures. Important to note, they have to be biometric pictures. I don't think you need another form from the Muhtar, I would expect the original one will suffice.

That's fair enough but the more we direct people to Facebook rather than answering the questions on here, the quicker Facebook will become the only option on the Internet - and the quicker the rest of us will be gone for good.

I have Been there again this morning after doing it six months ago, you need four photos each and yes you will need to see the Muhtar according to my new tick sheet

Ok just got back from Muhtar, you need to go there every time you renew as he sticks one of your photos on the form, which leaves you with three photos! Get six photos! It cost twenty lira each

Yes you definitely need form from Muhtar plus you need translated copies of all your pensions . They will not ask for bank details as they used to . Muhtar tried to charge me 20 lira for the form but a friend told him I run the charity near his office so he only charged me 10 lira !!! Mine was processed in just over a week and I was amazed to get my new card today. You will also need rental agreement if renting or take copy of tapu if you own a property also copy of insurance for property .Good luck

Thanks everyone . Will try on Friday .

Only trying to help Keith as I didn't have the answers to the person's question & someone said he'd asked before & no one had replied - it's a topic that's causing people a lot of concern due to changes! Maria
