Title: Do I need to renew Passport & Visa?

I have a passport runs out on 28 February 2017 and a visa that runs out on 1 December.
I am coming to Turkey 8 - 23 September.

Do I need to renew my passport before I travel.
I assume that if I get a new passport I need a new visa, is this correct?

I would have thought so because presumably you will have a new passport number which is one of the entries on the Visa Form.

The Turkish Government has advised that from 1 January 2015, foreigners entering Turkey must carry a passport with at least 60 days validity beyond the expiry date of their visa or residence permit.1 Jan 2015

You can still use the visa. Bring your old passport as well as the new.

If you renew your passport and it has a visa attached thsts still current you have to send a copy of the visa with the renewal and then bring your old passport until the visa expires we did this last year...
