180 day tourist visa
« on: March 29, 2016, 09:31:07 AM »
Just about to apply for our visas for our holiday next week, and wondering......do we actually need to print out our visas or once they have been completed online, can we simply present the passports at visa control.  I'm sure I have not had to show a paper form last time I went, but don't want to get caught out.....many thanks.  Would rather not carry anymore paper than necessary

It's not necessary to print them as they're recorded against your passport on the government's computer system.

However, it's worth having a copy in case of a computer problem at passport control. If you don't want to have hardcopies on you why don't you carry images of them on a smartphone ?
