It seems that the political lines are now so clearly drawn that this might not make much difference to public opinion in Turkey. Most AKP supporters didn't believe the tapes in February and won't believe them now; most non-AKP voters have believed them from the start. It has not really hit the European and North American news media yet but there may be more impact there. Not on UK and US governments though as they need Turkish cooperation, or at least acquiescence, in the war on ISIS.
