Demirtas responds and as expected, doesn't pull any punches in saying who he feels is to blame.  I hope he checks under his car regularly...

One heck of a speech. Let's hope he survives long enough to see some positive changes in Turkey.

And I hope he's the one to lead those changes.  His kind are desperately needed in Turkish politics. Brave man.

A very brave man.  I hope he will be O.K.  He seems like the sort of man who should be the next Prime Minister.

He is playing a classic tactic - publically accuse them of being responsible for silencing all opponents. Difficult for them to do him in now. Top speech, and from what I could see not from any notes at all. Just from the heart.

Moving speech from a very brave man. Lets all hope he survives to make a difference. Hopefully his tactics as Scunner suggested will work.

Ok, so according to the government it's IS - but not any old IS suicide bombers, Turkish ones.  In fact, one of them is the brother of the one who allegedly was the suicide bomber at Suruç.

"One of the pair was identified as Yunus Emre Alagöz, who was sought for being a member of an ISIL cell from the southeastern town of Adıyaman. Alagöz is the brother of Şeyh Abdurrahman Alagöz, who was the suicide bomber of the Suruç attack on July 20 this year in which 33 people were killed."

But hang on a sec...  the Prime Minister has just said that PKK are behind it, working with IS.

"Findings in the aftermath of deadly explosions in Ankara on Oct. 10 targeting pro-Kurdish and leftist activists indicate the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), as well as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), may be involved, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu said on Wednesday."

It gets better (worse?).  He was on a "watch list" of potential suicide bombers with his name and photograph circulated to all security forces, the ones who were posted missing at the site of the attack.

Demirtas nailed it when he accused the AKP, lets just hope he's around long enough and ultimately in a position of sufficient power to bring these power hungry scumbags to justice.
