Day one on Calendar One was allocated to swindsor and spo6666 chose that day on Calendar Two.

Firstly to IanK who emailed me to say that he was away when I kicked off this years advent fund raiser and wasn’t paying too much attention on his return so missed all the available spots. Despite this Ian has made a very generous donation to the fund.

Secondly to stuartT who was not only kind enough to take a day on each calendar but also to send a very generous donate which like IanK's will boost the tally.

This is not the first time that either gentleman has stepped forward to help the children so once again, thank you both :).

The lovely girl in Calendar One did not ask for the couple in Calendar Two’s or CBF’S help.

But both did help her.

And the couple, along with their magnificent team, and over many years have helped lots and lots of underprivileged kids like the girl in Calendar One.

I hope that all of the people who have supported this fund raiser will allow me to say “Pete and Chrissie, this one was for you”.

Brenda and I hope that you both enjoy a long, happy, safe and above all a healthy retirement.

Ok, perhaps we were there with the ideas at the very beginning when the carnival committee/3C's was set up but over the years we have been helped and supported by a very strong team, of which you are one, as well as having some very dedicated and generous supporters. CBF members have been real stars in this fundraising and without them, our hardworking committee members and supporters, none of our charity's projects could have been achieved. We hope that the fundraiser which you have kindly organised again this year (our swansong! - again thank you) has raised lots of money to enable more needy children to be helped.

Thank you for your good wishes for our retirement, we certainly intend to enjoy it and are enjoying making plans for the coming year.We now wish the new 3Cs committee every success for their future fundraising and hope that everybody will continue to support them in their good work. We also send our heartfelt thanks to you, Keith and your respective families and everyone at CBF for your help over the years and send best wishes to everyone for a very happy and healthy New Year 2016.
