Iyi asksamlar folks

We have heard from some friends that their "friends" were charged £20 each to get a Visa upon entry to Dalaman, Turkey.  Does anyone know if it has it gone up from £10?

Kind regards to all in Calis

The visa is still only 10 pounds.

Did they offer a 20 pound note? I know at one time in the past no change is given.

Before you fly make sure there is a £10 in each passport, and that there are no rips in them either, i had one and passport control refused it, so it was a good job i had a spare one. Alan

T'would be another nail in the coffin of the Turkish tourism industry, and yes, I know it costs a Turkish person 75 quid to get into the Uk but if you are trying to nurture a tourist industry that develops in fits and starts, sticking extra on the visa would not be a good idea, especially on top of fuel surcharges, airport tax etc

£10 or 15 euros, no change given, no Turkish Lira taken and no Scottish notes

Maybe the 'currency' depends on the individual visa man! I have seen on a few occassions (Turkish/English couples I have to add) give over some sterling & lira to the value of £10 & stamped the visa without a problem.
