The Conclusion:

We have had a verbal quotation and are waiting for written confirmation. Out of respect for Zeke's commercial confidentiality, I will not post the exact details. Suffice to say that the valuation is, as we always knew it would be, very favourable. We are very happy with it.

But when all said it done, it's as Cavfan rightly remarked, Mrs. H loves it and that's the only thing that really matters.

As long as Mrs H loves it, it really wouldn't matter, would it ?  My favourite ring is a small red pebble that my daughter and husband picked up off the beach, had it polished and mounted in a gold setting - worth next to nothing, but to me, absolutely priceless.    :)
