HEY SCUNNYOo  we are now having a half powercut, do you think this is the 1st fraze! ;)

No water today, they have decided to re dig up the whole of the Gunlukbasi road again, forgot to lay a huge thick black pipe thingy..just like being back in the UK..:D

It seems we can expect much more of the same....See today's Turkish Daily News.  Apparently because the reservoirs are so low (Water cuts) the hydro electric power stations are only producing about 50% capacity (Power cuts) The situation is aggravated by increased demand on both facilities due to the weather and of course the tourist influx.:(

They've already started water rationing in Ankara; apart from a few areas it's now 2 days with then 2 days without.

Checked my supply last night and down to 160 volts.
Tonight is between 180 and 202 volts.
As I pay for 220 volts will I be able to claim a discount.:D ;):D
