Go For British Tradesmen!
« on: August 01, 2007, 23:36:00 PM »
We have a few fairly minor jobs that require an electrician. It's fair to say that a good number of Turkish tradesmen turn up when they like, not when they say. Also, through our fault rather than theirs, it is sometimes difficult to explain exactly what you are wanting.

Mrs Scunner noted an advert in one of the local free papers for a British, qualified electrician, no job too small etc. - just the job. She phoned him and he agreed to come, today, at 3pm.

He never turned up. We have heard nothing at all from him.

A lesson learned for us. Better late than British.

Keith, maybe as it is the high holiday season, he is still trying to get a flight out to you!

Keith, have a word with Musti from scarlett bar, when we needed something doing he phoned the one he uses, and he got round here quite quickly, and he's reasonably priced. Alan
