on topic - there's a guy who gives massages at the Birlik. He seems to know what he is doing but I've not tried him. I prefer my masseuse to be blonde and Swedish:P

There is nothing like going for the real deal whilst in Turkey rather than having a quick massage on the beach. Not only do you feel totally revitalised afterwards but the whole Hamam experience is something else and the amount of grime that you will get rid off eurgh! I'm sure I lost a few pounds in skin. Sorry if you are eating whilst reading this.

Thanks for that everyone (and sorry Stoop for going off thread about our security!) I am going to try the Turkish bath and massage at the Oyken I may also give the lady a try if I happen to see her on the beach.

I've used Rose a couple of times and as Laffa said is ok when you get to know her. Her massage is great but her chat is a wee bit maudling!
Also used the older grey haired man who now bases himself out of the Letoon I think and has been providing beach massage for at least 20 years to my knowlege. We always referred to him as the old massage man but he was probably about 35 when we first met him!

I worked with a swedish lady who swore by cider vinegar for weight loss.  It worked for her but I can't bring myself to try it.
