Is there a laundry In Calis? How much does it cost? I thought there was one over the bridge down one of the side streets.  Thought it might be nice to get the washing done before travelling back to the UK.

I did ask how much they charge and I'm sure it was 20 lira for a black bag full.

Its about 20ytl for a load and that includes ironing. Make sure you can split lights from darks and you have enough in each for a full load as your stuff goes in its own washing machine so far as I can make out. We have used them since they opened and have always found them to be great. Nothing has ever gone missing and everything smells lovely and fresh and is ironed beautifully. We got our own washing machine in June so she needs new punters now! Although we came home with clean clothes and left a load there all clean- she's definitely still on for the ironing gig when we go out at the end of the month!

There is an English alteration and tailors service advertised. Don't ask for trousers to have their length altered, because they "don't turn up".
