Saw this on TV recently and gave it a try earlier - I must recommend it. Here’s my attempt:

Great minds etc - I saw it too and want to try them. They look delicious! :P

Looks good, but I wouldn't sieve my eggs through a tea-strainer. :o

Turkish eggs made with Greek yoghurt? Is the woman trying to start a war? She should be part of Barmy Boris' team!
-
Its not for me, I love poached eggs, I like yoghurt, even the chilli oil..just not together.
-
How do you know that?
-
I wish I could bring myself to try.

Go on, never say never... :)

Looks delicious, I will try this ????

Tried it with two eggs and it was very good . I still enjoy Eggs Benedict too though. Or come to that poached eggs in any form! I did do the tea strainer bit.

What a palava!
Yogurt aside - cook your eggs in heated butter in a pan with a lid on and they'll be cooked through in a flash, add pepper flakes to the butter if you want or add as a topping instead.
That's how we cook Turkish eggs in our house as shown and served to us by some random Turkish villagers we met.

I like the sound of your version Nichola! :)
-
It's certainly much easier and we love eggs cooked in butter - village butter of course ;)
I'll have to ask Dogan what he thinks about having the eggs on the yogurt and garlic. I've never heard of this before but he'd probably like it as he eats yogurt with every meal anyway.
