Jean,Never seen wheatgerm as we know it in UK. It is used unprocessed in annimal food we understand in Turkey. Bulger wheat is a good substitute as it retains most of the germ. The fine type as used in Kofte is the one we use,Easy soak or cook.

Sometimes Migros sell wheatgerm and and also bran .It is in boxes next to the cereals . Thrown the box away so can't remember the name but it does say in Eglish that it is Wheat. I also use either of then on porridge .

I've bought it in Kipa, it's in a box with the cereals, on the top shelf. It's sold next to ryeflakes and oats etc.
