I saw a report this am on Fethiye ex pats that 2english have been deported for working in Fethiye. They seem to be tıghtenıng up on the laws.

The 2 people you mention must be Andy and Glyn they sang at a couple of the bars in Calis. Also Jo from Vojos as I understand it all 3 are now in northern Cyprus. I dont know about Andy and Glynn but Jo can come back in 12 months.

Why jump to the assumption that the two people "must" be Andy & Glenn,?? Many people are working "beyond the law" here in Turkey, & Andy & Glenn were NOT deported, but left of their own free will in order to continue their love of music !!!! Yours is the kind of post that leaves a bad taste in the mouth, & there have been more than enough rumours regarding Brits !!

Deported, now there is Brian James/Chambers/etherrington who is not able to leave Turkey and the police know that he is working? Strange and he wants to be deported.

Just to put the record somewhat straight from the Efes lager lout Glynn and Andy were shopped to the authorities for working illegally
like joe at vojos and were given 7 days to leave the country which they did. My son in law has helped to sort out there music on many occasions and they are goood friends. At the end of the day they were deported if you are given 7 days to leave the country it is deportation the only difference is you are allowed back sooner than if you are ejected. I know joe from Vojoes is entitlede to come back in 12 months but I dont know about Andy and Glyn I will probably find out next week when my son in law comes out with regard to working in northern Cyprus different country different rules Turkish Cypriots with there own government if you are ejected forcibly you cannot go if you leave voluntary you can, 10000 ex pats live there according to Glynn who is doing quite well. Have posted the bad remarks to Glyn

I thought it was Glen by the way not Glyn, but I don't know them and you are good friends with them, so I assume I'm wrong.

Andrew and GLEN chose to follow their dream of singing live in Cyprus.They couldn't get the necessary permits here, so CHOSE to leave.
They certainly took longer than 7 days to do so.
Were meeting up with them in Antalya at Christmas, and they are free to come back over to Turkey anytime they like.

They will be happy North Cyprus is a beautiful place. There is some beautiful restaurants, bars and hotels. :)

I heard that a sometime clown sometime bird of prey was deported for smuggling in black pudding, heard the authorities suspect he is supplied someone in Calis with the initial "L".... not that I am a gossip though.
