Very well done, through to the World Cup thanks to two Scousers (Rooney & Gerrard) scoring goals and one other Scouser Leighton Baines helping out too. :D 8)

Well done England, best performance for some time. Rooney and Townsend in particular deserve a special mention.

Undefeated and top of the group with the best goal difference.

I reckon the nation would have settled for that before the campaign started.

Never been too keen on Wellbeck until last night - talk about tracking back and taking one for the team. I am certain he will be the most bruised player today - well done - I get it now - what Fergie and Woy saw in him - just takes me a little longer :'(

Oh, I don't know, we preferred Sturridge's performance, but glad Roy took him off, as it's saving him for the team he plays for...Now which team is that.  Oh Yes, I remember, it's Liverpool.  :P ;D

they were two very performances all round i thought
