One hit wonder The Ides of March, made a great record in the 70's called Vehicle. I was listening to it on my car radio and just thinking the brass section in this record was fab.. I could not get the tune out of my head all day.  :D   :   :)
Anyone remember it??

Behind blue eyes by The Who !!!

I remember Keith Moon being hoisted off his drum stool and off stage on a wire during the intro at
Wembley only to be lowered back in place just in time to start drumming - unforgettable   ;D

OK it's not rock as you know it Jim but it deserves to be in anyone's top 100  of any musical genre. Besides it has local relevance to this site as it was co-written by a Turk, who made a gigantic contribution to music over many years, Ahmet Ertogan.

My first visit to the one-day Pinkpop-festival held in Geleen (NL) in 1981. A barely known U2 had a short list of songs they played. So short they played I Will Follow twice.

In 2008, the festival grown out of it's jacket and for years being turned into a 3-days festival at Megaland in Landgraaf (NL), I revisited for Metallica. Brilliant!

This year Metallica will be back on june 9th. So will I.
