Just a reminder for all of you that are property owners that the Council tax for at least the first half of the year is due.
(You will get a huge ;) fine if you havnt paid).
We usually pay ours at the office when we come over in April or May, but its actually very easy to pay online now if - you know your Sicil number(s).
I can post full instructions if anybody is interested.

Aggghhhhh,
my PDF document is 905Kb and the attachment limit is 500k per attachment.
Scunner, is there a way I can post this?

Try downloading and using "Free PDF Compressor" - that will reduce its size but it will still be fine to read.

the images are a litle fuzzy now but I think it should still be Ok for you.

PS When you see what you owe, there may be extra lines if you have any unpaid payments for last year or late payment fines :)

this is truly great so v many thanks. it printed off clearly, and the annotations were a great help. I was worried as we cannot get out till end September (please God we get there then). the only thing was it wouldn't accept my Turkish debit card, so used an English MasterCard and that worked fine. thanks again!!!

Just another question where do I find the secil number? Also, seems to be asking to register as a new user, anybody else get this? The site does come up in English as well.

Secil numbers will be on any previous Council Tax receipt.
No - not asked to register, are you sure you have selected the same options I used?
Don't think its in English - but your browser may be offering to translate it on the fly - just watch out for odd translations.

Followed instructions and paid council tax using UK credit card. Didn’t need to translate anything as they were very specific. Thank you for posting.

has he asnt got his papers with him, so they reckon the fine will
be no more than 40tl.

Dear all: some MAY get a warning to register first, but ignore the warning and follow Ian's instructions to the letter and it works perfectly.
One other thing is that for me, the text went white on white background; I just selected the entire page with the mouse the and text highlighted, thus could carry on.

Always worth bringing the old bills home. I can now pay both our water and council tax on line. Electric we only pay when we are there fortunately, as we are on a site, so we pay on demand from the managers.

hi ian, thank you the instructions a super, I went onto the site, clicked tahsilat bilgileri all good, until i got a message in red (never a good sign) basically translated, telling me I don't have authorisation to enter, I need to register as a new member, the site is in Turkish, is there any way of bringing it up in English, i'm guessing I need to register as a member to be able to carry on tia sonia shortland

Yes just ignore that message (pictured below) and click Sicil Kodu ile Online Tahsilat down at the bottom.

The only minor issue I had was that at first whilst I could see that there was an attachment to Ian's e mail (at the top left of the heading to Ian's message) the attachment was not appearing underneath Ian's message and I could not open it.
Once I logged in the attachment appeared under Ian's message and I was the able to open it, so all sorted.
I should have been paying in person last week but alas it was not to be..Here's hoping that we will be able to visit late September as planned 8)

Is the secil number or any other number or info on the Tapu anywhere that I could use to pay ours with anyone know thsts the only paperwork I have in U.K. thanks

just struggling putting credit card details in . when the box appear with the numbers in , if you have a 1 or 2 in your long number , there isnt a 1 or 2 in the box , it says one and 2nd . so if you choose this , it takes up three spaces of the four available , can some help with this . thanks
