I took the suggested server - but no change for me.  Having said that I don't really have much complaint about the speed - presumably I just wait for it to happen?

Do you have "GO Faster Stripes" down the sides of your computer.....Best I can obtain is 255 for download. This is faster than it was but not much to get excited about! :)

Well yours sure beat mine on dial up. I somehow don't think the upload one is correct for me?


What a difference today

Now if only I can figure out how to stop the firewall blocking me downloading the virus software & getting my email connection correct I'll be happy.

Sometimes I wish I was a geek. Anyone got a dummys guide website to doing the above?

You could turn off the firewall for the duration of the download.

What firewall? Firewalls shouldn't block any downloads, unless you've told it too. Check your allow/disallow settings.
