Top up cards
« on: May 05, 2009, 22:49:01 PM »
When I was over in March I bought a new kontor card. Can't remember the logo but it was a Turkcell network  card  (on offer) from the shop in Gunlabasi. The kontors did not seem to last anywhere as long as they normally do. I usually buy a card from my regular shop in Fethiye. The phone is registered in Turkey and I have used it successfully for 5 years so I think it was the fact it was a different card? I am now in the really silly position of arriving with very few kontors on the phone  :-\for my next visit as I was unable to topup again before I came back to the uk. Has there been a large cost increase in the last year[?][?] or any problems with top up cards that may have caused this? And is there anyway I can top up from the UK??
 :)

they never seem to last long anywhere now

maybe when your next here in turkey you could buy a card and put it on at a later date
but i think after so many days of not in use they switch them off
like in uk
maxinum 60 days i always send a text every 30 days to keep conection alive.

I was over in March.2009. The time element is not a problem in this case. I obviously didn't make myself clear enough. Is there any way I can top up from the UK please?
