We recently had a friend staying and asked the friendly staff at Eyna restaurant if they could do a special dish of salt baked chicken for us. We gave them a days notice and the meal was spectacular!!!!!!!
For those who do not know, the chicken is baked very slowly under a crust of salt and you have to break it open with a hammer to get to the chicken - it was fabulous!. We finished off with the Eyna pudding (secret recipe!) which again was great.
If you fancy something different why not have a word with Nalan or Erhan - they can do you salt baked chicken or fish - but it is not on their normal menu and they do need a days notice - and it is something apart from the normal menus you get in the Calis restaurants.
