Oh the phucking irony...

"Gül announced his decision via Twitter on Feb. 18, expressing satisfaction that the aspects that he saw “as problematic” were being addressed by the government."

President Gül approves disputed Internet bill as gov’t offers amendments

Now that he has come down on RTE's side it will be interesting to see if recordings/facts/fiscal matters emerge about HIM.!

It's a total disgrace what is happening to Turkey and it's people.

Just arrived in Ciftlik on Friday and I have just tried to get UTube on my IPad, but it says it's blocked.  Anyone know how to access?  Have been using UTube on the IPad for past couple of years no problem.

A serious answer is to get a VPN app on your iPad - I have Hotspot VPN and it's been brilliant. Just set it to 'pretend' you are in the UK and you can watch UK-only services like BBC iPlayer, ITVplayer etc and also usually get locally banned services like Youtube.

It's £20 a year ish, well worth it to me.

Sure does, thank you for your endorsement. What I love about it is the fact it is so easy to switch on and off.

What I like about it is the fact that there was a version for my Mac laptop. There rarely is.
