I thought the powers that be had completely ruined F1 with the new rules this season. After the Bahrain F1 I think I may be wrong. What a great race!!. Ok, Mercedes appear to have by far the best car but it was constant overtaking and re-overtaking all through the field. I loved it!!

I agree to a point, but I am concerned this will end up being another 'race for third place' as the season progresses.

McLaren in 1989 still stands as a shining example for me, but any season where one team is so overwhelmingly dominant loses its shine after a while - although the politics and off-track goings-on can keep things interesting.

That said, it was a great race and brilliant to see some proper wheel-to-wheel action - I do hope they keep it that way.
Made up for Malaysia which was one of the dullest races parades I'd seen for some time.

What we need now is for Bernie to let it come back to Turkey.
