The thing is he offered us a menu and we said no thanks as we are just going to have a drink if thsts ok, wel sit on the front seats so we dont take up a table for diners, at that point there were only 2 tables with folk dining...Jack had previously been with some girlies he met here and they had shared a hubba bubba pipe ( or whatever its called) hed wanted to go back so i said yes...when i queried the efes price i was told its on the menu and id been offered a menu and had said no to which i replied i didnt think i needed one as give or take a tl or 2 most places charge the same price for beers and bravely added and you know that dont you...i was then told yes but we have nice toilets and a live band to which i said well your toilets are not that nice and i dont like live bands...defo will not be giving them a second chance, i would love to know if the menu does say the beers are 17tl though!

Karennina, I agree it sounds like they were trying it on, not sure why they think they can get away with it. Surely by now they know that these things are passed on. It's like you said in your first post, no-one likes to be ripped off and treated like an idiot. Be interesting to see if the price is 17tl on the menu though.

Know how you feel. In our working lives we used to keep the country going; now we just keep going.
