Yacht classic hotel.
« on: March 05, 2020, 15:53:53 PM »
Its been a while since I last posted, a couple of years I think.
We have spent the last 4? winters on the western Algarve (Oct to April) but having reached the age of 86 we can only get travel/medical cover for 28 days at a time.

We have had a month in Madeira and at present we are having month in Malta. We planned to have month  at the Yacht Classic in November but its fully booked. Can anybody recommend one of the water front hotels near the Yacht Classic please.

We always enjoyed our visits to Fethiye and are looking forward to meeting up with old friends and visiting some of our old haunts.
Any help will be most appreciated.

Regards

DonM

Well done Don-keep taking the tablets.
Orka(Carnival rest) on the quayside is another boutique type htl.
Good standard and not requiring uphill effort!!!

Good to see you back on here Don.

We liked the Yacht Boheme - it was very pleasant - but I wouldn't rave about it.

Although a little further along, my favourite remains the Ece Saray. Trying the Alesta Yacht this year.

Thanks for all the input. Most of the hotels we were interested in were fully booked but we finally settled on the Alesta Y C. Booked B&B for the 2nd-30th  November it means dining out for 28 nights, its a hard life.

We looked at the Yacht Boheme but there was very little room choice. Also there was a surcharge for bed linen and towels.l have never come across this charge before and I have stayed in many hotels over the years.

This is OT but can somebody tell me how to get an e mail notification when there's a reply to a post.

Once again many thanks for all the advice and good wishes.

Regards
DonM

Just head up to the top dark blue bar towards the top of any page Don (where the topic is, just under the top advert) - sitting above that right hand side you will see 'notify' - click that and you'll be able to get notifications. You can do it in as many topics as you like.

Just ensure your forum profile email address is correct and current.
