Can anyone help with how to transfer money from a house sale back to the UK with as little charges as possible. Thanks in anticipation, Steve

I think it's just a case of biting the bullet and paying whatever the fee is to transfer from your Turkish bank account to your UK one. At least then you've got peace of mind that you know exactly who's handling it.

Take it back with you. As long as you have proof that you sold house it should be ok. Need to check if you have to declare it.

Thanks all but have sorted it. opened a gbp account will put money in and a very cost effective swift bank transfer, much cheaper than using the usual advertised companies to transfer to UK.
