Webbstar/Casey - that dual personality of yours seems to be getting you in trouble again.
If a 3rd personality should appear then we really don't want you dead but I'm sure we'd all chip in for a good psychiatrist for you.
Paranoid too & threatening - it's gonna cost a lot to sort you out.
Bye, Bye

I'm going to leave this one on Casey/Webster. A sort of obituary. Linda says it all really.

There's nothing wrong with him that a 9mm lead injection between the eyes wouldn't cure!

Brummy,

Don't! He can be a fairly nice chap when he is sober. It's pretty obvious though that the longer the night goes on the worse he gets. ALL his drivel comes out late at night/weekends. He also seems to have a major problem with the mods on here - maybe that stems back to his school days/upbringing?? Only he knows the answer to that. Anyway it's Scunner's forum and he has the final say on who goes and who stays.

Its like being back at bloody school ,all the older wiser ones or so they think are telling everyone else what to say when to say it ,people dont have to read all posts if they dont want, seems to me if you dont agree with one of the GODS you are not welcome on the site ,all the banter going on is one persons veiws,i think some of the things you are saying are bloody disgusting ,get a bloody life killing people shooting people whats going on grow up lets carry on talking about rally important issues like where can i save 1tyl on an efes thats far more important, but dont tell someone the wrong place to or the higher ups {the gods}will put a contract out on you.

not really sure what has been said Ive read a lot of comments from all people on this site and think that tempers and loseing self control are bad,I've been guilty of both, but i hope never to be rude or insulting to any individual member, somtimes the mods who give their time freely can get peeved as we all can but they do what some times is a thankless task (so thanks to you now) webby and crossie before him over stepped the bounds, there is no needed for a verbal kicking to now take place this isn't the steps of the rome forum,we are aldults(well sometimes)and should have reasoned debaits not slanging matches, sorry to go on but should be nicer more polite to one another.(you can guess who had an argument this weekend and who's in the dog house) :-\[:o)]

What have I missed? Short notes only please.

Lance, the Efes at Seril really is 1.75 YTL.I think that saving a lira on that price will be a bit of a challenge.

Lance,

If you are proposing a "free for all" forum where anyone can say and do anything then we would be looking at a total disaster area. The modding on this forum is very lenient compared to other forums - Holiday Truths, for example. Webster would last about 15 minutes on their forum.

If you have any ideas that might improve the moderating then please feel free to put them across in the suggestions for improving the forum section.

If you think the mods are harsh on here, you should have been a member when Scunner (too busy to moderate) & myself (now retired) were the only administators on here.
The mods are pusseycats compared to what i was like in those days.
It`s bloody hard work keeping everything under control & everybody happy, i used to spend 4 hours a day doing it, ok, i upset a few members in the process, but that`s life.
So please don`t knock what they do, (apart from Stoop, LOL.

if we are to keep the garden rosy, we need to weed and prune where and when necessary, and if you want to play in the garden, respect the hard work that has gone into it over the past four years, that is why it is such a great place to visit.

Can we talk about something more positive now

Maybe a 'rant' or a 'get it off your chest' room is in order? As long as there are no direct threats, slander or real bad language involved.. actually on second thoughts it would be losing the point without those 3 key ingredients!
Ah forget it. As you were!

has anyone any good stories about being banned from somewhere?

i got the sack once, the gaffer was the most impatient and aggresive bloke in the world.he told me to knock this nail into a concrete wall so i tried several times to knock it in and it would not have it,so he snatched the hammer and nail and wacked it as hard as he could,he forgot to move his thumb and it split and went purple.
i swear i was crying with laughter  so i hid under a breakfast bar rolling round the floor for about ten minutes.he caught me under there crying.

when i could stop myself crying ,he sacked me..... it was worth it though.

I think this thread is not good to read and there needs to be a period of refection about what the Forum is all about.
There are many testimonies on this forum which say how friendly it is and how helpful it has been. All sorts of people use it, whether just  the curious, holiday planners or property owners. This includes Turkish people, other people from overseas and of course people in the UK.
While it is ok to disagree with a view expressed it is not, in my opinion, OK to character assassinate contributors or comment on their personalities in the way some people have on this thread and in some other recent ones.
It is better people simply say they disagree with a point put forward and then express there own view on the issue and not oln the person making it! I think moderators have a role to play in ensuring some of the worst character assination or persoanlity attacks don't get published. They also have a part to play by not making things worse by inflaming the situation. Sometimes I think it might be best if moderators kept more neutral and keep out of these spats. I just wonder if they are being goaded to fire other peoples bullets. If people stuck to the issues and not the personalities everyone can make a contribution and people like me can continue to use this Forum knowing it will  continue to remain a friendly forum which can be relied upon.  Now wouldn't that be nice!

I agree with Stuart, there is no need for this thread to continue, he's gone, lets get on with being positive.
