Is there a section to view active topics in the last 1-2-3 etc hour?  I have nearly given up on the forum in its present format, far too tricky even for me.

Loz, since the introduction of the 1hr, 8hr and 24hr option top right (click on the actual numbers themselves) it has all become much simpler.

All you need to do after choosing your preferred time is to refresh the page every now and then and it is almost as good as having active topics back   :)

Maybe the reload page option will also return along with the exchange rate in time...

This is what you should see; maybe it is the browser you are using   ;)

I will leave this to Steve   :)

I am adjusting the settings as we speak,  I now have the options for 1hour 8hour etc.  I need to do a few more tweaks, I am using Chrome and Safari and have Adverts and pop ups settings set to my likes, but will get there  ;)

The other strange anom is when I click on a topic it sometimes will not show replies, even though I know there are replies.

Steve I will send you the password, do what you want.  I have thick skin  ;)

It sounds like you can see the active topics in 1h, 8h, 24h now Loz so to sure what else I can do

Other than that I am guessing it is a browser issue

Actually.....it could be your advert settings as this forum will show adverts between the initial post and the first reply. Maybe every now and again your browser struggles to read the page based on the settings you have made
