Hot gossip Tickets all sold out know. Really sorry anyone who wanted to attended and do not have tickets. We have the Christmas Fair coming up shortly, followed by the Boxing Splash, and plans are a foot for a Burns Night supper. Will keep you informed.

Can we please remind everyone who has bought tickets to bring them. They will be needed to get your food. This is going to be a very busy night. There are dozens of people coming after 9 p.m. who will not be eating because all the tickets were sold.

Janet, sorry but I am afraid it is not an open event, these are just a few friends of people who already have tickets who desperatly want to come and they are prepared to pay to get in to to help boost our charity fund, even though they will not have food and we cannot guarantee them a seat.

If the night is the success that we hope it will be, we may do something similar in the New Year. But don't forget there will be other events taking place over the next few months so please keep an eye out on the forum and posters and make sure you book tickets early

Anyone who missed The Calis Village people last night missed the performance of the year!!! Never mind the X Factor this was a truly professional performance. The hard work that went into it was all worth it. We are all proud of you. I must thank Nigel from the Kismet Bar who had his work cut out to lick them into shape!! and also starred as the leather biker. Fantastic. We had people coming to us and saying that it was their best night out in Calis for over 5 years and that the food which some of the committee made was superb. Mark J. as our DJ was brilliant. We have already been taking phone numbers from people wanting us to let us know when our next event is going to be so it will be first come first served!!! Watch out for the announcements and posters. If anyone has videos or photo's from last night please could you send them to me or Chrissie so we can put them on our website. Our digital recorder went haywire.

It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying theirselves, eating, drinking and dancin the nite away. Ours boys were awesome, I'm sure that they aint gonna hang their boots up, they've got the taste for performing. Its great when all the effort has not been in vain.

Sorry we are not doing anything on New Years Eve but New Years Day Boxing Splash is not to be missed. Always a great turnout, plenty of fun and a great way to start the new year.
