Tick & flea treatment

Sent hubby out to get Frontline or similar for my three doggies - he came back with Fiprovet and I was horried at the price of 91 TL for three doses.  Surely there must be cheaper and equally effective brands available.  Your advice would be much appreciated.

have you found a cheaper version of Fibronil yet? I worked until recently for the company that makes it, I'm sure I could get hold of some and bring it over in future.

As the owner of 4 dogs, I always buy from the internet through Bestpet, its free postage in the UK but may not be worthwhile to them to send a small amount to Turkey.  Flea and tick treatments are expensive everywhere,  Flea collars are ok on small dogs but my greyhounds would need one round their tails as well!!  :)

Re Replies #'s 4 & 5.  Luckily when I was back in the UK in June I was able to bring enough back with me to keep my gurlies pest free for a while yet.  It's weird in some respects, my eldest dog whom we rescued as a very small pup rarely suffers from parasite infestations.  She suffered with a form of eczema when she was little which took a long time to clear up and I often wonder whether she built up some sort of immunity to these pests.
Thank you all anyway for your helpful suggestions.
