Don't know if this is the same one  thats referred to on cbf but we visited the place run by the Turkish lady with the German accent. Anyway what a great place and what an amazing job she/ they do. Well worth a visit. Kenny took us so don't know directions but seemed to be behind gunlukbasi somewhere! Could've brought most of them home with us!

Perihan was the founder member of the Animal Shelter, she no longer runs it as it is now in the hands of the belediye, but she still oversees it and has a say in what goes on up there  ;)

Thank you for visiting Marie and thanks for your comments  :)

Oh yes she said that Andy but we couldn't work out if it was the one you were involved with tho we did drop your name! She said something about you being a chairman? Btw that dog is still tied up outside erdemler. We saw the owner and she takes it for walks twice a day morning and evening and feeds it but its kept outside the whole time.

chairman!  ;D I will walk round in the morning and look at the dog, if its fed and watered and has shelter there is not a lot else we can do as its a private dog but we will keep an eye on it,  ;)

I know tinx I don't expect you to. It took us a few days to see the owner and see that she was walking it. It's got water there but it has no energy and doesn't react to human contact at all. Maybe it's content but as bonkers dog owners it didn't feel right to us but of course you can't interfere.
