It is being reported that a divers boat with 79 people on board has sunk in rough seas off Gemiler Bay near Kayakoy.
Everyone on board, 71 divers ans 8 crew managed to reach safety with small boats assisting coastguard boats,
two Torpedo boats and a Turkish rescue Helicopter.

At least 79 people, including 71 students and eight crew members, onboard a boat off the Fethiye district of Turkey’s southwestern province of Muğla managed to swim to the nearest coast to be rescued after their boat sank, daily Hürriyet reported on April 2.

Not in the bay itself Mercury. European Diving Centre often have dives a couple of miles out in the area around Gemiler and Af Kule Monastery.

Just had good news from the EDC. It's not their boat that's sunk. It's Mermaid Diving Club's.
