Need op, not sure where to go

I see bad reports about both Esnaf and Letoon.  I also see good about same places.  It seems to depend on what you are having done(?)

SO, has anyone had a hysterectomy at either of these places and, if so, what were your conclusions??

Whilst I know nothing of this subject; I hope this is helpful.

The medical insurance cover we have, has removed Esnaf from their providers; not up to standard it appears. :-\

State hospital?
eeeek!

A friend of mine had a spinal operation at Letoon and she said they were fantastic, went back to the UK and her GP faxed Letoon for a copy of what the had done and she said her GP was so impressed with the indepth report and couldnt believe they operated. He said on the NHS they would have sent her off with tablets and physio... and they if she's have had it done in england it would have cost 3 times as much!

That's interesting Tors.  I am hoping maybe someone can say if the Gynae at either hospital has a good reputation.  Or recommend a Gynae elsewhere, like Izmir.  Though I am reluctant to go that far if I don't have to.

Lynne,
A friend was in the same predicament and was forwarded onto the hospital in Izmir where the surgeon was highly recommended with people travelling to him from Istanbul & Ankara.
She ended up going back to the UK last week,as they discovered much more than expected and felt in her circumstances with all the treatment she would need she would be better off where she could fully converse with her surgeon.
If you need me to try and get the Izmir's doctors name let me know.

Murat Cekir is the gynecologist at the Esnaf has my full support. He was my Dr throughout my pregnancy last year. i had a difficult pregnancy after it was found i had a blood infection that could have passed to baby, thankfully it did not. He did a brilliant job of my ceasarian section last December.

Then in January i found a small lump and he removed it, thankfully it turned out to be nothing serious.

His English is quite good and you don't really need an interpreter, Esnaf always provides one anyway just in case. He is polite, very helpful, patient and never makes you feel rushed if you need a chat.
