Pete, if you go from Fethiye towards Gunlukbasi on Adnan Menderes Boulevard, {Main Road}, there are many marble and granite work shops. I'm sure you will find what you need there.Word of warning though, just please remember that marble is VERY SLIPPERY when wet,and not always the best choice for a pool surround, ask for advice, it's FREE!!

That was being VERY polite.

Lindacarl, you didn't really expect me to use a phrase like;"Marble is an absolutely S***e material for a pool surround", on the Forum, did you?? How VERY dare you!! :D:D: :): :)
Gordy.

P.S.according to our great friend, Hakan,{who designs and builds pools, gardens, fountains etc.etc.etc.}, the normal material for the immediate pool surround is something called "Travertine",but there is another product with a sort of "gritty" non-slip surface, especially made for the "walking area" around pools.

I thought of putting -
After installation commences please ensure you have topped up your medical & life insurance & those of your beloved to the maximum levels.
It would also be advisable to make a new will, remembering to cut out of the aforesaid the person who suggested marble would look so nice as my crystal ball says they are not to be fully trusted.
Sorry Pete
Linda

Thankyou for all your suggestions, but my pool is already surrounded with marble for the last 4yrs, not the polished variety you find on the floors inside properties, but cut and machined so as not to be "VERY SLIPERY" when wet.
The reason i've asked this question is that I need extra.

Ok Pete I understand,in that case, any of the yards on Adnan Menderes Boulevard should be able to help.
