Just bought a Samsung microwave with a 10 year warranty for 249tl in A101...Well impressed.
They also had flat screen TVs for 1300tl,1400tl,and a huge one that I can't remember the price of.

Make sure you keep the box as well as the receipt. It's a Turkish thing. :)

Does the receipt have a 10 years warranty as well ? It will be unreadable after some months as the ink will fade away.

If it's kept in the box it shouldn't fade. Or, you could photocopy or photograph it if you're concerned.

Well I put it with the cash receipt their stamped bit of paper. But when I take it out at new place, I will photograph it and add it to this post and ten years from now we can all read it again and laugh and laugh ;D

Ok , good luck then ... and don't forget to pray that Kim Jong-il does not send a nuclear bomb towards South Korea within the next 10 years as that would destroy all the necessary spare parts if your Samsung breaks down.
