New to Turkey
« on: January 18, 2013, 18:17:10 PM »
Hi folks
As the title says we have never been to Turkey before but really hope to go this summer. After reading lots about the fetyihe area we want to find out as much as possible about it ad it looks so nice. Looking forward to any advice from the members on here on places to stay and eat and things to do!
Spent lots of holidays in Spain and Florida but feel we need to broaden our horizons now. We have a son of 16 who still likes to holiday with us so need to find lots of things for him to do. Although DW and myself are happy on the beach with as good book:-)
Look forward to posting with you all.

Welcome to the forum!!  You won't be disappointed.  It's a lovely place and the people are wonderful.

There's a search bar at the top of the page and you can find out virtually anything you want using that.  If it's not on there or it's out of date there are lots of people here who'll answer your questions.

Welcome to the forum and indeed to Turkey. Ask if you need to know anything. You can find some more info on things to do and places to visit here:

Welcome - we were 'Turkey Virgins' about 10 years ago (and almost declared a headache when our first visit was Marmaris   :-[)

We were also Calis Beach Virgins 3 years ago.  Now it is a real effort to go anywhere else as we feel we are coming home when we visit Calis. There is lots to do and see in the surrounding area and as Suzz says, try a search and ask away if we can help at all.  I don't know a huge amount but there are folks on here who will amaze with their knowledge.
