Hello everyone, just introducing myself to you all. Been coming to Calis and Fethiye for several years now and still love the place. We have an apartment in Calis and visit 3 times a year. Just back yesterday from our first week this year and saw some big changes in particular the progress on the new promenade, which looks fantastic. Looking forward to reading all your posts and keeping up to date when I'm home in sunny Glasgow. Isla.

Hi Bluwise, my apartment is in Akarca near the Devlet hospital. We played tennis on the new courts opposite the harman hotel. There has been changes made to the bird sanctuary area where they have cut back some of the reeds and have made some outlets into the river where the water taxi's pass up and down. I noticed that some little boats were using the outlets to anchor. Another change is that there is now a path/road been formed around the Hotel Club E gardens so that you dont have to walk through the gardens. There is now a climbing wall next to the Volley Ball arena. Due to the time of year some of the bars and restaurants aren't opened yet but one that I did notice was new is on the right of calis front called Voju, we didn't try it this time  but it did look nice! We have 11 weeks and 3 days untill our next visit!!
