Will you be travelling by car or dolmus?

Cadianda is very nice if you can get up there, historical City ruins in the mountains and not to far away.

Olu Deniz seafront is quiet but very pleasant on a sunny day, there is also the lagoon which you have to pay to go into. The Kordon walk along the seafront between Fethiye and Calis has plenty of restaurants and lovely views of the bay.Kaya village can be reached by a couple of dolmus changes if you do not have a car. There is the village which was once inhabited by Greek people in Kaya.Kaya itself has some restaurants and is interesting  and pretty. There is a little museum at Ciftlik I think it is, a village past Calis and the man has collected a lot of items which were used in village life in Turkey at one time. He has opened a restaurant which does a very good Turkish breakfast. If you drive back towards Dalaman it is off one of the turnings to the right, inland.Maybe someone could tell you where exactly.
Near to Uzumlu you have Kizibel which is above Uzumlu, you take a right turn as you leave the village going towards Denizli and it is a windy road up the mountain, not a lot there though.Nif is on the road to Denizli and there a a garden restaurant owned by two English men there. The area is famous for its cherries.

Eat at the Wine House, you won't be disappointed.  If you have a car, take a tour around the surrounding villages Incir etc....fascinating.  Have a Turkish breakfast at Kirk Pinar outside Nif.

Definately Turkish breakfast in Kirk Pinar is a must and if you are lucky it will be snowing up there. Best traditional breakfast in the area but you will need a car.
Cadianda, Hectors tomb are all walkable if you don't mind walking uphill.
Olu on a sunny day is wonderful as is the Fethiye Kordon.
Further away you can visit Tlos and enjoy the ruins without the tourists.
Today we have driven around the peninsular and it has some fantastic views to stop and enjoy and beaches to yourself.
If you are out on the 6th Jan we hold a fun night in Musti's (Cadianda) books, dvd's for sale at 1tl and then a fun quiz. Lots of the local expats come along so it would be a great way for you to meet some of us.
Sun is shining so lets hope it stays that way whilst you are here.
Hope to meet you soon

You bet, wonderful traditional breakfast and traditional place  :). Here is a topic I started a while back - will give you a feel for the place if you didn't see it first time around.
