Not taking sides on this.  Restaurant is lovely and the menu good, and reasonable prices.

We went their last week, up market type feel, service good, prices OK, food OK, chef got one dish completely wrong and my on my mixed grill the steak was substituted with liver! no steak was the answer. I assumed that these were due to not being open long, I do wish them good luck this season. It's good to see a number of restaurants in the village, Musties is No 1 for us great value, service and quality.

Wasn't when you ordered the time to inform you there was no steak? Doesn't sound particularly up market to me!

I know people, actually including Mrs Scunner that would send the whole lot back at the very sight/smell of liver on the plate.

Yes but that is normally listed in the menu, this was just given as they had no steak.
