Fun Quiz and Craft Fair with Tarot readings!

Its that time of the month again!

Uzumlu Ladies Group join the Turkish Ladies at the Winehouse Friday 29th April for the Craft Fair at 11-4pm, we are selling craft, jams, pickles, cakes and much more. Also our May Issue of our very own Puzzle Book will be on sale too.

Lady Cristobel, tarot reader will give tarot card readings at the Winehouse downstairs as part of the Craft Fair. Cost 10tl per reading and all proceeds go to our new project...Mother and Baby Room at the Uzumlu Clinic.

Fun quiz with an Easter theme and a new game, Special Delivery. Bring a book and buy one for a lira,also dvds and a raffle.  Saturday 30th April at the Cadianda, start time 8pm.  Prize for the best Easter Bonnet. Anyone eating and staying for the quiz will receive a 5% discount off meals(not including drinks).Lots of prizes to be won please join us for a FUN evening and support our new project...Mother and Baby room.

We are still collecting your un-used health aids glasses etc bring them along.

A huge thank you to Colin and his team from Clover builders for their 3 day effort at the Mushroom Festival raising funds for our new project, the Mother and Baby Room at the Uzumlu clinic. They raised a grand total of 1021tl. Well done. This is a great start to the project and we will keep you all informed of our progress.

What a great cause to raise money for (Mother & Baby Room) and that we also asked the Uzumlu local community what help they wanted for the village - what started out as a small idea to create a sort of local W.I has been the best idea in ages. Well done all involved.

Hope to see everyone on Wednesday after my couple of weeks break.

Traditional 3rd Üzümlü food & craft fair..29th April. 11am till 4 pm

You will be able to see lots of traditional Turkish cooking and craft made in the village by the Turkish ladies, come along and view the handmade crafts and the homemade food dishes,
on sale will be a variety of Turkish breads, desserts,... cakes, pastry's, jars of local jams, marmalades, oils vinegars , pekmez  etc.., this local produce will be on sale,..

Prices starting from 1 lira, 2 lira for cakes pastry's etc :

Why not pop in after you done your market shopping :and enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee supplied by the Winehouse.

p.s ;Hopefully The Royal Wedding will be shown - ( if it's possible !!)
