Not very effective outside their station when there are so many ways around it!

Saw a burnt out car outside the Jandarma station this morning, their road blocks are a bit hot!! Unfortunatley it appears there was a tragic reason attached see below.

Received this yesterday from the Uzumlu Watch Committee

Hello All,

We have had a report of a burglary that occurred yesterday, Friday night between 9pm and this morning. The villa was unoccupied at the time of entry, access was made by cutting through security bars and the locks removed.

At this stage we are not fully aware of what was taken apart from bottles of alcohol, but the burglar(s) did mess the inside up probably in an attempt to search for any valuables. The location of the villa is on the flats towards the Bucak end. This has been reported to the Jandarma.

More info will be posted when received.

Can I remind all members especially at tis time of year that we are getting visitors and part time residents over who may not be aware of the UCW group and e mail alert system, could you let them know they can register with us for these emails.

We will also be arranging another update meeting for all residents shortly.

Please remain alert.

Kind regards

UCW Committee
