My 2 year old wants me to vote for a playground please. I think looking at the sparse and broken playground in the centre of the village it will certainly be something for everyone if it also has the sports type equipment you see in play grounds around Fethiye hopefully the local Belediye would contribute!
But also as a feel free to comment, just to throw a view on the heart defibralator this would be a vital piece of equipment BUT will it be available to all in an emergency or stored in the clinic when the chances it will be available when actually required is slimmer, also it is a specialist piece of equipment, how many people will be able to use it? Sorry I have heard first hand the horror and tragic stories on supposed trained professionals attending here in Uzumlu, pregnant Ambulance Crew who cannot assist carry patients, untrained crew who are only drivers, staff's children riding in the cab meaning the victim's family cannot go with them in the ambulances and Nurses who cannot provide any where near the same standard as the UK through lack of training.I note police officers, public transport staff, work First Aiders, Fire Officers and many others are trained in use of this equipment in the UK as obviously minutes are vital to cardiac arrest victims and the use of defibulators is of the essence in it's application and would suggest that volunteers who can use it are sought if legal and possible in Uzumlu again if easy access is available? Perhaps it should be stored with the Jandarma where 24 hour access is available? Sorry this may have already been discussed and agreed by the Uzumlu Ladies if purchased. I have added this in mind of the fairly recent tragic death of a Uzumlu resident through some of the above incompetence of the emergency services on their attendance. If purchased my sister would be happy to train anyone in it's use as a current LAS Paramedic when she is over here.
