Apparently some people from Uzumlu visited Girdev Lake recently and caught a 15 kilo Carp.  If it is you or you know who it is could you contact me via my profile as the owner of the Camp wants some photo's if possible for Publicity purposes. Phil

According to one website it's 85km away & the road up to it is horrendous!

I've just been reading up on this place and I fancy taking a trip up there. Imagine how clear the stars will appear up there without any of the light pollution you get in Fethiye.

It is well worth the visit, the scenery is superb. We stayed overnight and you are right about the stars, it is very clear. The fishing is great with three well stocked carp lakes. I had a lift there so I am not great on the route but you have to turn right off the main Antalya Road towards Seki and then 1st right again by a small restaurant and then follow the road up into the mountains, there are one or two turnings on the route but it is difficult to describe fully.  The road isn't great and is more suited to 4 wheel drives.
