The beach at Sands bar was very clean when i was there aug 23rd to sep6th nice sunbeds/parasols and beanbag type seats too.shower working and Free tea or coffee, wherelse do you find that on any beach? there was even a nice walkway of boards /carpeted to get you over the stones to the sea.Max and Fuat has made it look really inviting down there, its just a pity that there wasnt many tourists there to appreciate it.Max asked where everyone was so i left him the cutout from news of the world sun/23rd aug showing a million people crammed on bournemouth beach lol.I did sit on Mutlus beach too and to my left a bit further down it was scattered with rubbish disposable nappies and discarded litter and plastic bottles hung from the trees behind it.I did feel like going around myself and cleaning the place up cos its a beautiful place, only it was too hot to work and i was on holiday.my son whos Turkish still had a fantastic time with me and his friends lashing about in the sea.

We are coming over again in October and staying in Telmessoss. Last time we always came off the main road at the roundabout, drove down a bumpy road to the straight road which leads to the Birlik, turn right onto an unmade beach road then off road by where the fruit seller is at the cliff round to the gate in.Is there another, smoother, way in? I love doing the Ari Vatenaan drive but SWMBO hangs on for dear life when I yump over the brow I the dark ;o))

someone giving their age away. I competed in the Mintex rally with Ari in 1976 in Scarborough. The last time I saw the Stratos rally in anger too with Andy Dawson,

The road from the roundabout is now block paved and the beach road is a little smoother. Then again they could take you the back way ;)

First time I saw one was in the dead of night in Forest of Dean on the RAC, I think it was the first year they entered. Awesome car, met a few drivers in one of the service areas, I think Ari was driving for Ford in those days, MkI Escort.

if you go to the far end of the beach as far as you can go, then you have to go round the back of the hill and Telmessos is the complex to your Right ;)
