HELP!!!! what happens if lost residency visa

I have just lost my residency visa whilst travelling to the UK and I'm not sure what happens next.

Do I have to apply for a new one
Are there costs involved

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can I just say although I admire you for the humor side of things this is serious and I have no idea of what costs or trouble lies ahead when I return to turkey or if Infact i can. I would appreciate some real i depth help and advise, THANKYOU.

OK. Not entirely sure of the procedure, but you should get an e-visa to re-enter Turkey and then go to the Pasaport Polis to report the loss and re-apply once you get back. And yes, as with most things bureaucratic in Turkey, it will cost you.

If you can, get a Police report in respect of the lost blue book/RP card.

Re-enter on an eVisa and go to the Polis to firstly report the loss of the blue book/RP card and secondly apply for a new one.

As usual in Turkey, it depends on the weather or whether the person you speak to got his rice crispies that morning what happens next.  You *may* get away with buying a new blue book/RP Card, you *may* have to pay a fee equivalent to half the unexpired portion of your residence permit or you *may* have to simply apply again.  Those were the options under the old system administered by the Polis Yabancılar Şubesi and I've seen all three applied for a lost blue book. 

Under the new system there may well be a provision for replacement - it'd be good if you could report back what happens when you go to the Polis, for the benefit of anyone else in the same situation.

With a fixer, go to the police station on the Gunlukbashi road to Calis and declare the situation of how you think you lost it.
Then take copy of the report to the passport police.
No hassle just a bit of time.
