Possible overstay by two days

Weve counted up and counted up and think hubby has overstayed by one day and a few hours into 2nd day when he leaves in early hours of second day anyone know how much he should exoect to pay at airport if he has overstayed and is it done at the passport control booth or do u have to be took away somewhere, thanks very much in advance

May be worth checking files on the Doc Martin Facebook Group.

Expect to pay something but don't think it's much. Hopefully they won't ban your husband from returning to Turkey for x number of months which happened to a friend of mine.

Think it's picked up at Passport Control and he will almost certainly have to go and pay at another counter.

Thanks for replies well he was very pleasantly surprised the guy just said youve had nice long stay here smiled and stamped him out, the thing is before i had residency i had counted my days religiously i was very brave on departure and asked how many days i had left he said wait a moment please pressed some buttons and system made it 2 more days then i did...so hes in uk clocking up time to come back next yr im making him get residency cant be doing with the stress of it all!
