We have just had a visit from the Polis ref address check armed with a Tablet with both our photo's on so it looks like they are doing the rounds

Out of interest , have you recently applied for residency ?
Police will check all residents and addresses after residency card is issued, but I don't think they have been tasked with anything to do with the Short Term Letting licence applications (yet).

No, we're 9 months into our 3rd 2 year residency term, just a completely random knock on the door with no explanation other than Address Check so I guess I'm only assuming it is related to the new rules?
