I'm sorry but without knowing what happened I am confident in saying that a resort cannot, and should not, be written off or tarred with the same brush as another place, such as where this incident has happened! It's obviously not good and maybe does not bode well for the season but I consider sweeping generalisations not productive as are derogatory comments not productive for tourisim, which after all is what forums like this are all about!
-
I thought the post mentioned 'time out' but did not mention the resort?
-
It being in the Hisaronu Discussion Forum section might give the resort away a little
-
I read the post as that they were saying that the bar and not the resort should be closed down?
-
100% correct Boo, the bar not the resort Linda!

Very sad news about the security guard,
-
Yes , very sad news about the security guard. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at such a sad time. The man was only doing his job.
I am also saddened to see it took 24 hours and 8 comments before Booo added how very sad it was to hear of the security guards death. I'm glad you thought of him Booo, doesn't seem as if too many have in this section.
Lets hope the poor mans death dont give the area a bad name eh!!!!!

Always good to have someone to tell us what we should be saying.
-
And what took them so long to say it!
-
Without the little pictures Scunner it is difficult to judge the sentiment of your last post. Empathy or sarcasm?
I decided on empathy as I hadn't suggested anyone should be saying anything so it couldnt possibly be sarcasm.
I was suprised no one had mentioned the security guard yet the thread had plodded along with arguments over wether the incident was taring the resort with bad publicity and that saddened me.
It was an observation and an opinion and in no way an attempt to tell anyone what to think or say.
If it was sarcasm them I'm pleased to see there is always a way to lighten up the saddest of situations with humor.
-
Sarcasm, and no humour.
-
Te he Mr Scunner. Pity its not your strong point
-
It goes without saying that someone losing their life is a sad event. That is exactly what happened here, it went without saying. Why that saddened you is a complete mystery to me.
