We bought some for a "big" Brenda birthday many years ago but I cannot remember from where.

I do seem to remember that they were relatively expensive.  ;)

The Gun shop in front of the fish market use to sell them. But the last time I bought some i was informed that you had to let the police station know when you intended to let them off. I ignored that and by the time our first 30 shoot air bomb had finished the police were driving around trying to find where it came from. That was in Calis.

Given the current climate I'm not sure I'd be letting off anything that goes bang, illegally.

Don't worry. If you do get locked up in Turkey accused of terrorism, our Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, will come to your rescue!

Myself, I would go for sparklers.

There's a shop that sells party (balloons, hats, etc) stuff near the fish market that sells Roman candle type fireworks that wernt to expensive, also tiaras for 4TL (wedding party this Saturday ),  if you go past the fish market with the sea & fish market on your right shop is just across the next junction on the left.

Fountain type fireworks used at lots of restaurants and wedding locations, so maybe ask the restaurant you are going to? I don't think you can just buy and use yourself in a villa etc.
