A young mother went shopping with her daughter, after shopping they were running a bit late so hailed a taxi to take them home.
As the main road was jammed solid the taxi driver asked if they minded using the back streets to save time to which they agreed.
Along the way the young girl spotted women scantily clad standing in doorways and asked her mother what were they doing?
"they are waiting for their husbands to come home" said mother
"no no" said the taxi driver "she is old enough to be told the truth"
... ... The mother feeling a lttle uncomfortable with this said to her daughter " they are prostitutes darling, they sell their bodies for money"
" well what happens to all the chidren they have"? said the girl
"They become taxi drivers" came the swift reply
